I am a lawyer who has practiced in Calgary, Alberta and London, UK. Prior to law, I worked in political advocacy. I have a knack for storytelling - translating complex legal and political issues into digestible and engaging material. I'm passionate about issues related to gender, energy and climate change, public policy and politics (they're not the same!), and dogs. I've been recognized by Oilweek Magazine as a "Rising Star", and named UN Women SHE Innovator.
My love for politics stared when I ran for the students’ union in university. I officially founded Room Where It Happens (or ROOM) in 2019 for young professional women to discuss public policy and politics in a safe, multi-partisan, fun and empowering space. Click below to find out more.
I'm open to writing, public speaking, and audio-visual production opportunities. Do you think we can tell a good story together? Dare we change the world through nuanced and engaging coverage of issues? If yes, please don't hesitate to reach out.
